For travelers who are interested in our general Israel tours as well as visiting Egypt and Jordan, this tour has it all. Take a journey back to ancient times as you explore the wonders of Egypt, Jordan and Israel. On this journey of a lifetime you will be able to ride a camel by the Great Pyramids of Giza, see the iconic statue of the Sphinx, and visit the red-rock city of Petra (one of the Seven Wonders of the World). In Israel, you will enjoy many unique experiences such as relaxing in the resort town of Eilat, having lunch at a Druze Village in the Carmel Mt., wine tasting in the Golan Heights, eating dinner in a Middle Eastern Restaurant, seeing a sound and light show at the Tower of David, ascending by cable car to the mountain fortress of Masada, floating in the Dead Sea and much more!


Day 1 – Saturday

  • Our journey starts today as we depart on our flight to Egypt – to the land of the Pharaohs.
  • Sit back, relax and enjoy your flight, and prepare yourself for a life-changing experience.

Day 2 – Sunday

  • Upon arrival in Cairo and after passport control, you will be met by our Cairo representative.
  • A private transfer is included from the airport to your hotel. Our hotel is conveniently located only 1.5 miles away from one of the Wonders of the Ancient World, the Great Pyramids of Giza. Check in at the hotel, unpack and rest.
  • In the evening we will meet our Egyptologist tour guide-escort and traveling companions for a welcome dinner and orientation meeting.

Day 3 – Monday

  • After breakfast, meet our Egyptologist tour guide to start our touring day in Egypt.
  • Our first stop will be at the Pyramids of Giza. A visit to the three Giza Pyramids is on every world traveler’s must-see list. Cheops Pyramid, the largest of the three, was built in the 3rd dynasty about 2690 B.C. and is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
  • In front of the Pyramids of Chephren, we will find the colossal statue of the Great Sphinx, which has stood guard over the pyramids for more than 4,500 years. The Sphinx carved from a single piece of stone; it is a lion with a Pharaoh’s head, thought to be a portrait of the Pharaoh Chephren.
  • We will have the privilege to go inside the Great Pyramid to discover the burial chamber. The burial chamber consists of an empty Sarcophagus (7.3 ft by 3.75 ft) with smooth walls and a polished ceiling. The floor is made with blocks of pink granite, which covers 50 sq meters.
  • During our Pyramids visit you will have a chance to ride a camel near the pyramids (complimentary by AIT). This is your opportunity to have your postcard photo riding a camel with the pyramids in the background.
  • Next, we will drive into Old Cairo to explore the city’s cultural landmarks that span over three millennium of Egyptian history.
  • Discover the greatest collection of Pharanoiac treasures in the world at the famous Egyptian Museum. See the unique collection of Pharanoiac art, starting with the Old Kingdom Collection, followed by the Middle and New Kingdom galleries and Greco-Roman periods and the famous Tut-Ankh-Amon treasures.
  • As we stroll along, we will come to the recently restored Synagogue of Ben Ezra, which marks the place where Moses was saved by the water girl of the Pharaoh. This is the oldest Jewish synagogue in Egypt, built in 882 AC.
  • We will return to our hotel for dinner.

Day 4 – Tuesday

  • After a late breakfast and some free to time to relax, you will be transferred to the airport for a short domestic flight to the beautiful resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh, the most popular destination on the Red Sea.
  • The remainder of the day will spent at leisure. Relax at the beautiful beach front Resort Hotel or join one of the optional tours that we offer.

Day 5 – Wednesday

  • After breakfast, we will travel north, following the very scenic Red Sea, arriving at the Taba Border.
  • We will leave Egypt and enter Israel here at the Taba border crossing. Here we will say good-bye to our Egyptian tour guide and bus driver.
  • You will be picked up on the Israeli side of the border by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Eilat. Shalom!
  • We will arrive in Eilat – the beautiful resort city on the shores of the Red Sea- and drive to our hotel.

Day 6 – Thursday

  • Tour to Petra is operated by Eilat local operator.
  • After breakfast, take a full day tour to the city of Petra. You will be transferred from your hotel to the Arava border point with Jordan, cross into Jordan and visit Petra, Jordan. You will be met by our Jordanian tour guide and bus driver who will drive you to Petra to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the ancient Nabatean city of Petra. The Rose Red City, as it is also known, was carved by the Nabataeans out of solid rock, and played an important role as a trading post on the “Silk Route”. A visit to Petra is one of the true highlights of any tour to the Middle East. For hundreds of years, Petra was forgotten until it was rediscovered in 1812. The entire city is carved into the sides of a deep gorge, which is entered on foot or by horse-drawn carriages.
  • In the late afternoon we will cross the border back to Israel. Our representative will return you back to your hotel in Eilat.

Day 7 – Friday

  • Enjoying a free day in Eilat, the beautiful resort city on the shores of the Red Sea.
  • Stroll the beaches and swim in the chilly water of the Red Sea.
  • Enjoy some of the various water sport activities and exciting attractions such as the underwater observatory and aquarium, the Dolphin Reef, Camel tours, ATV & Jeep desert tours, Yacht sailing and much more.
  • Return to the hotel in the mid-afternoon to pick up your luggage and be ready for your transfer to the Eilat Airport.
  • You will fly to Tel Aviv where you will meet our representative who will then transfer you to your hotel in Tel Aviv.
  • Enjoy Shabbat in this lively city!

Day 8 – Saturday

  • Enjoy your free day in Tel Aviv, Israel’s largest city on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Tel Aviv, also known as the “city that never sleeps”, is a truly cosmopolitan city with world class museums, concert halls, theaters, shopping and great restaurants.
  • You can just relax and enjoy Shabbat or take in the many sights the city offers.

Day 9 – Sunday

  • Drive along the coastal plain to Caesarea, capital of Judea under the Romans.
  • See the excavations of the Crusader city, Roman port, aqueduct and the amphitheater that has been restored to its former glory as a concert venue.
  • Proceed to Megiddo, identified as the site of Armageddon; visit the archaeological excavations including the well preserved water supply system.
  • Continue to Daliat El Carmel, a Druze village and enjoy a late lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Proceed via Mount Carmel to Haifa for a panoramic view of the Haifa Bay and Golden domed Bahai shrine and Gardens.

Day 10 – Monday

  • Drive to Safed, the center of Jewish mysticism, where you will visit the ancient synagogues and artists’ colony.
  • Continue to the Golan Heights to see the former Syrian bunkers, Kuneitra and the new Israeli town of Katzrin.
  • Stop at the Golan Winery for a tour and wine tasting; Proceed to Kessem Hagolan, a multimedia presentation of the area and its history.

Day 11 – Tuesday

  • Start the day with a visit to Nazareth and visit the Church of the Annunciation.
  • Continue to Tiberias; visit Capernaum to see the ruins of the synagogue and octagonal Church of St. Peter.
  • Visit Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount.
  • Drive via Beit Shean to Beit Alpha to see the remains of the mosaic floor of an ancient synagogue depicting the zodiac.

Day 12 – Wednesday

  • Start the day with a magnificent panoramique view from Mount of Olives.
  • Drive to the Old City; Visit the tomb of King David and the room of Last Supper on Mt. Zion.
  • Enter the walled city and walk through the newly restored Jewish quarter.
  • Visit the Roman Cardo, the Herodian quarter and continue to the Western Wall.
  • Walk along the Via Dolorosa to the church of the Holy Sepulchre.
  • Continue to Bethlehem*; view Rachel’s Tomb and proceed to visit the Church of Nativity and Manger’s Square.

Day 13 – Thursday

  • Drive to the Israel Museum; Visit the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed and the miniature model of Jerusalem as it was during the second temple period.
  • Proceed for a tour at the Knesset, Israel’s parliament.
  • Continue to visit Mount Hertzel cemetery and Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust.
  • Visit Mea Shearim, the ultra orthodox neighborhood in Jerusalem and learn about their unique lifestyle.
  • In the evening enjoy a middle eastern dinner followed by the spectacular “sound & light” show* at the Tower of David museum (weather conditions permitting).

Day 14 – Friday

  • Drive through the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, almost 1300 feet (400 meters) below sea level.
  • Stop at Qumran to visit the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Massada.
  • Ascend by cable car and tour the ancient fortress where the Zealots made their last stand against the Romans before committing mass suicide in 73 A.D. Descend by cable car.
  • Continue to the Dead Sea; Cover yourself with the mineral rich mud and experience a swim in the Dead Sea* that many believe has its therapeutic effects (*weather permitting).

Day 15 – Saturday

  • Today is a free day to enjoy the special atmosphere of Shabbat in Jerusalem. You may want to discover some museums and re-visit the Old City.

Day 16 – Sunday

  • After breakfast you will be transferred to Ben Gurion International Airport for your transatlantic flight back to the USA. Take home your fond memories of Israel that will last a lifetime, and start planning your next trip!
